REP’s Rackable Curl Bar (also known as an EZ curl bar) features a longer shaft of 74” (6’2”), or 51” (4’3”) between sleeves. This makes it rackable in standard-width power racks. That means it’s easier to load the bar with plates, and it is more comfortable to get into position for lifts.

This is my first rackable curl bar, so I hadn't realized what a difference it made to be able to put the bar on J hooks. No more balancing act on the flat bench to change weights and being able to lift off from the rack makes a lot of exercises easier to set up. I've been using it for curls, skull crushers, overhead press and seated military press. The knurling isn't very wide, but in use, there was never a grip problem and the feel is appropriately grippy without tearing up my hands. Build quality of the bar is excellent and the chrome coating looks much better than what you see in the cheap overly shiny chrome bars. Definitely a permanent part of the collection.

I was looking for something to make curls, triceps, and forearm exercises easier on my wrist. I was planning on just getting a curl bar, but the extra width of the rackable curl bar allows you to load and unload weights with ease and is overall pleasant to use. Great for your joints and your back! Would recommend!
